Course Description:
A senior
seminar organized around books that deal with the geo-materializing Pacific
Rim cities of Honolulu, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in some kind of
postmodern/ postcolonial edgy new way.

This is roughly
the order is which these books will be assigned for the course. These
books will be available for purchase at Literary Guillotine Bookstore
in downtown Santa Cruz. Writing assignments, procedures for the course,
and syllabus will be given out at the first class meeting on January 5,
