[THEA-133-01] Theater Arts 133 Dance History and Theory will be about "Martha Graham and the development of historical modern dance in America." I don't have a syllabus to show at this time, but it will cover her dances (with much film and video) and the work of her important contemporaries, in order to place her unique contribution in the context of the culture, politics, and aesthetics of her time -- from the 1920s until the 1980s.
