[KRSG-063B-01] Kresge 63B-Modern Hebrew Poetry We will read the poetry of Yehuda Amichai and Dan Pagis in Hebrew and English translation. Emphasis will be on how the poetry works as linguistic and cultural structures; there will be some discussion of Biblical and other classical rabbinic sources. The class will be conducted as a seminar, with class reports, a paper, and a final translation assignment.
