Frequently Asked Questions

Student Status Verification

Q: My insurance company is requesting proof of enrollment. What documentation should I provide?
A: If the insurance company will accept unofficial documentation of your enrollment, you can print your class schedule from your student profile. If the company requires official verification, you can order an Enrollment Certification online at www.studentclearinghouse.com, or use the order form at reg.ucsc.edu/students/cert.cfm.

We will not issue proof of enrollment prior to the start of the quarter. There are no exceptions.

Q: Where do I get a validation sticker?
A: The college office provides current quarter validation stickers. If one is not available because fees were paid late or it is past the third week of the quarter, you can receive a sticker from the Office of the Registrar

Q: I'm receiving a scholarship, and they need proof that I'm enrolled at UCSC so that they can give me my award money. Can you help?
A: You will need to request a Certification of Enrollment. See reg.ucsc.edu/students/cert.cfm for more information.
