Frequently Asked Questions Q: My insurance company is requesting proof of enrollment. What documentation should I provide? A: Due to the confidential information included in enrollment verification, the Office of the Registrar requires students to request and pickup the certification of enrollment in person with picture identification. If not currently in the Santa Cruz area, send a signed written request with a stamped envelope addressed directly to the agency requesting proof of enrollment. Certifications cannot be mailed directly to the student. We will not issue proof of enrollment prior to the start of the quarter. There are no exceptions. Q: Where do I get a validation sticker? A: The college office provides current quarter validation stickers. If one is not available because fees were paid late or it is past the third week of the quarter, you can receive a sticker from the Office of the Registrar. Q: I'm receiving a scholarship, and they need proof that I'm enrolled at UCSC so that they can give me my award money. Can you help? A: You will need to request a Certification of Enrollment. See reg.ucsc.edu/students/cert.cfm for more information.
