Program Description

For students interested in acquiring proficiency in the Arabic language, beginning and intermediate level language courses are offered. The courses emphasize reading, writing, understanding, and speaking modern standard Arabic as used by educated native speakers of the language. In the beginning, the fundamental structures are emphasized with an aim toward developing the reading and writing skills and introducing the speaking and comprehension skills gradually.
